Relationship Lead/Managing Director+
We are presently seeking candidates for a senior-level Relationship Lead/Managing Director position with responsibility for establishing and growing relationships with new and existing clients. Relationship leads (RL) are core to SRG’s success as they are responsible for establishing, building, and nurturing relationships with our clients. SRG’s senior-level relationship leads are responsible for winning at least $2 million in new business revenue annually. This revenue is brought in through business development efforts, leveraging relationships, and professional networking to target and convert new clients. Ultimately, we envision that the candidate will establish deep relationships with senior-level decision makers that yield high customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling and leading work and building relationships in many of SRG’s target sectors, including CPG food, foodservice, CPG non-food, personal care, health and beauty, and/or healthcare, ideally at a firm similar to SRG. We also value candidates with client-side experience in these sectors, assuming they bring deep connections, are respected in the industry, and are sincerely committed to leveraging their networks to win new business. The candidate should have deep knowledge of insights, innovation, positioning, design, and communications. Responsibilities: • Deliver (win) at least $2 million in new business revenue annually. • Establish, build, and nurture relationships with clients who create lasting value, resulting in rehire. • Provide thought leadership, strategic direction, and inspiration to SRG and client teams, fostering an environment of creativity and imagination. • Ensure the highest quality work possible in the interest of driving in-market impact, client loyalty, and SRG brand reputation. • Provide thought leadership and direction to SRG teams to solve client problems and to raise the level of SRG’s thinking. • Form deep, collaborative partnerships across all SRG practice areas and provide day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and guidance to individual team members. • Serve as a steward of SRG’s culture by fostering a creative, collaborative, innovative, fun environment that will inspire great work. Qualified candidates will have at least 15 years of experience in building business and brands through work at agencies, consultancies, and client companies. Ideally, the winning candidate will have five or more years of client service experience at a senior level. We are looking for a proven track record of building strong, enduring relationships with clients and successfully generating revenue for an agency. Sr. Account Manager – Food B2B+
A Senior Account Manager is the "go-to person" for two or three clients, responsible for initiating projects and guiding internal teams through the appropriate processes to effectively achieve all the day-to-day deliverables in support of the ongoing communications programs and larger strategic plan. This includes running projects from beginning to end, managing client communication on these projects, managing both internal and external schedules, monitoring budgets, and overseeing all elements of execution with little to no direction. To be successful, you must be proactive and a self-starter who is able to motivate others. Being detailed oriented and a proficient project manager is also a must, along with strong communication, leadership, and relationship building skills. Responsibilities: • Previous experience in foodservice or ingredient marketing including advertising, media planning, publicity, event marketing and culinary innovation. • Leverages understanding of marketing planning, brand positioning, media strategy, promotions, and research fundamentals • Provides strategic input based on research analysis; drafts and finalizes reports summarizing key insights • Takes ownership of the creation of reports and presentations with minimal guidance from senior team members • Is viewed as the go-to person on day-to-day matters. Effectively guides teams and clients to complete day-to-day tasks in a timely manner • Initiates and manages day-to-day communications programs, including scheduling, budgeting, execution, and follow-up with little to no direction • Understands client budget and conducts analysis. Regularly identifies opportunities to add revenue within existing clients • Identifies and suggest solutions to internal and client processes and strategy • Actively manages assistant account managers, account coordinator, and interns • Effectively manages work and time, appropriately defines priorities with no oversight Qualifications: Have 5–7 years of advertising agency and/or client-side experience within foodservice or ingredient B2B marketing. Bachelor’s degree required in communications, marketing, advertising of equivalent field. Required skills include creative problem solving, initiative, and general interest in marketing and culinary. Must be a strong team player with proven ability to work with multiple teams. Demonstrates successful job progression within well-respective companies with a track record of leading a wide range projects. Sr. Strategic Account Planner+
The Sr. Strategic Account Planner’s key role is to collect relevant consumer insights and bring them into creative process through propositions for advertising communication that excite and inspire consumers (B2C) and business clients (B2B). This is a vital role in advising our clients and inspiring creative teams, so our solutions are targeted, precise, and relevant to our audiences Primary responsibilities include: 1. Grow SRG’s cultural intelligence 2. Act as the voice of the consumer 3. Be a skill player in uncovering insights 4. Form a bridge between Innovation and Advertising work Cultural Intelligence • Identify and monitor consumer and industry trends (i.e. cultural strategy) • Collect, analyze, organize and communicate relevant/interesting cultural trend information across the company • Build processes and systems to get others involved in collectively growing the company’s cultural intelligence The Voice of the Consumer • Collecting the right consumer insights and transforming them into creative communication, as well as bringing these insights into the creative process and the creative team.
