Full-time Openings

  • Relationship Lead/Managing Director+

    We are presently seeking candidates for a senior-level Relationship Lead/Managing Director position with responsibility for establishing and growing relationships with new and existing clients. Relationship leads (RL) are core to SRG’s success as they are responsible for establishing, building, and nurturing relationships with our clients. SRG’s senior-level relationship leads are responsible for winning at least $2 million in new business revenue annually. This revenue is brought in through business development efforts, leveraging relationships, and professional networking to target and convert new clients. Ultimately, we envision that the candidate will establish deep relationships with senior-level decision makers that yield high customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling and leading work and building relationships in many of SRG’s target sectors, including CPG food, foodservice, CPG non-food, personal care, health and beauty, and/or healthcare, ideally at a firm similar to SRG. We also value candidates with client-side experience in these sectors, assuming they bring deep connections, are respected in the industry, and are sincerely committed to leveraging their networks to win new business. The candidate should have deep knowledge of insights, innovation, positioning, design, and communications. Responsibilities: • Deliver (win) at least $2 million in new business revenue annually. • Establish, build, and nurture relationships with clients who create lasting value, resulting in rehire. • Provide thought leadership, strategic direction, and inspiration to SRG and client teams, fostering an environment of creativity and imagination. • Ensure the highest quality work possible in the interest of driving in-market impact, client loyalty, and SRG brand reputation. • Provide thought leadership and direction to SRG teams to solve client problems and to raise the level of SRG’s thinking. • Form deep, collaborative partnerships across all SRG practice areas and provide day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and guidance to individual team members. • Serve as a steward of SRG’s culture by fostering a creative, collaborative, innovative, fun environment that will inspire great work. Qualified candidates will have at least 15 years of experience in building business and brands through work at agencies, consultancies, and client companies. Ideally, the winning candidate will have five or more years of client service experience at a senior level. We are looking for a proven track record of building strong, enduring relationships with clients and successfully generating revenue for an agency.   • Billing Coordinator+

    The Sterling-Rice Group is currently seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Accounting team. This position will report to the Accounting Supervisor and will have responsibilities and expectations in the following areas: Billing Execution for our Media Team • Manage monthly client billing and process all vendor invoices for payment. • Reconcile media billings to actual budget to ensure budgets are not exceeded. • Flawless, detailed documentation and execution of media plans, from client billing, processing media vendor invoices, and frequent budget reconciliation. • Ability to meet strict bi-monthly billing schedule. • Timely review of all vendor invoices and follow-up on any open items and/or credit memos. AP Backup • Serve as backup/support for AP invoice processing. Relationships • Work closely with Accounting and Media team on fast-paced detailed monthly billing cycles and reconciliations. • Work closely with internal account team from start to finish. • Build respectful and professional relationships with external media vendors. • Possess mature and professional business demeanor in personal and written communication.   • Culinary Specialist+

    We are currently looking for a Culinary Specialist with excellent research and organizational skills; a proven ability to think strategically and creatively; and with some training or background in cooking, food writing, or restaurant hospitality. To be successful, candidates must be proactive and self-motivated and have the ability to multitask and coordinate resources to get the job done, often in a demanding and time-sensitive environment. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, a knack with PowerPoint, and a genuine curiosity for the wide world of food and beverages are also key. Responsibilities: • Research food and beverage trends in foodservice and consumer packaged goods industries to inform insightful, analytical trend reports, for short- and long-term assignments • Assist in the creation of, culinary newsletters, internal trend trainings, and other culinary support materials • Participate in project and calendar management for culinary team, event planning and coordination, and local/national trend immersion content and logistics • Support client workshops and culinary work sessions in a variety of ways, including setup and teardown, recipe preparation, food shopping, kitchen organization and maintenance, food serving, note taking • Support SRG’s Culinary Council with database management, chef communications, trainings, outreach, onboarding, and event planning • Contribute culinary expertise and food knowledge as a culinary skill player on client projects • Help keep both SRG kitchens organized and clean (inventory large and small wares and pantry items) Desired Skills and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or liberal arts with experience in research, analysis, and writing.   • Insights Analyst+

    We currently have an opening for an Insights Analyst/Market Research Analyst. Our client roster contains many of the country’s top consumer brands including PepsiCo, McCormick Spices, Pfizer, Bush Brothers, The Almond Board of California and Purina. Our firm strives to do incredible work for our clients in an environment that is energized, creative, and fun – and research is a big part of everything we do. Projects are varied, but typically would include segmentation studies, AAU’s, category analyses, and concept/ad tests. Experience Level: This is junior research position that requires one or two years of prior experience conducting quantitative analysis and consumer research studies in a fast paced professional setting. Skill Set: To be considered, you must have experience with the entire analytical process from developing a questionnaire through to producing finished report.   • IT Intern+

    We are currently seeking an Information Technology Intern to join our team. The position requires 15 to 20 hours per week for the spring semester and, if business needs allow, potentially 30-40 hours per week over the summer. This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $11. Ideal candidates will be working toward an IT-related bachelor’s degree or other degree to complement their career in IT. The IT intern’s role is to ensure proper technology operation so that end users can accomplish business tasks. This includes prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests, which includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and equipment.
