After a successful foray into traditional grocery channels with their bottled Frappuccino®, Starbucks was looking for their next source of growth. Following ethnographic research to understand consumers’ increasingly healthy lifestyles, SRG developed new product concepts that would take on the fast-growing energy drink segment and stand apart in the current landscape of artificial, heavily processed offerings. By leveraging green coffee beans and other natural ingredients, the refreshing juice-based drink brings to market an uplifting natural energy beverage that is uniquely Starbucks.
