  • Senior Account Director - Food B2B+

    The responsibilities of the Senior Account Director include providing thought leadership to elevate and drive clients’ brands. This position will work in close partnership with client and internal teams, as the client expert and trusted advisor responsible for client satisfaction and overall business profitability. This position will also mentor and coach team members while motivating and leading overall project teams for complex campaigns across a variety of media. To be successful, you must be able to motivate and lead internal and external resources, build good relationships with teams, oversee project timelines and budgets, and have strong written and verbal communication skills. You must also be willing to roll-up your sleeves and get into the details of programs to help ensure excellence within implementation when necessary. • Leverages understanding of integrated marketing programs, including strategic brand positioning, media strategy, event marketing, promotions, culinary development and publicity. • Contributes ideas and actively manages the strategic development process to ensure a solid foundation for creative development and marketplace efforts. • Demonstrates and shares subject matter expertise with internal and external teams. • Takes ownership of the creation of reports and presentations that can be shared with leaders at the client without oversight. • Is viewed as the go-to person on the account. Effectively guides teams and clients through all projects and initiatives. • Proactively address internal and client issues, identify solutions, eliminate obstacles and can help navigate through complicated and difficult situations. • Responsible for all creative and media briefs and then making sure the creative and media plans deliver against those briefs. • Effectively manages work and time, while guiding others to do the same with no oversight. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressively responsible advertising agency, restaurant client-side (brand management or marketing), and/or PR experience. Demonstrates significant job progression within well-respected companies, with a track record of guiding both client and agency teams to successful marketing campaigns.   • Digital Media Planner/Buyer+

    Sterling-Rice Group, a nationally recognized brand strategy, innovation, and advertising agency, is searching for a Digital Media Planner/Buyer. Responsibilities: • Manages all aspects of digital media campaigns to ensure flawless setup, execution & performance • Integrates digital media with offline advertising and marketing programs into strategic recommendations • Develops buying strategies for maximizing media dollars, and handles media RFPs and negotiations • Creates and manages media flowcharts, client media authorizations, billing, all media vendor contracts & related internal documents (i.e. traffic schedule) • Utilizes research to develop target audiences and media recommendations; analyzes at a sophisticated level (@Plan, ComScore, Google AdPlanner, Google Analytics) • Recommends online media budgets and manages reconciliation and all budget reporting as requested • Seeks out emerging media opportunities to most effectively use creative and digital media dollars to the greatest benefit for our clients • Consults and provides POV guidance across variety of social and digital media opportunities, including ways in which they can be connected with paid media opportunities • Understands various tracking services and can build campaigns, traffic and track them for detailed reporting purposes, according to client-specific KPIs • Works closely with ad ops, creative and production teams to sure efficiencies with campaign planning (aligning creative vision and assets with media plan) as well as campaign execution (timeliness of all asset delivery and ensuring full functionality of all deliverables) • Builds and fosters positive relationships with media partners via email and live communication • Works closely with media team members (director, supervisor, assistant planner, ad ops), account team and client throughout online campaigns to monitor, report, and optimize performance, resolving any performance issues • Serves as SRG ambassador and demonstrates grace in challenging internal and external scenarios Qualifications: 2-3 years of digital media planning and buying experience. Good writing and presentation skills, strong negotiation skills, detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through.     A Senior Account Manager is the "go-to person" for two or three clients, responsible for initiating projects and guiding internal teams through the appropriate processes to effectively achieve all the day-to-day deliverables in support of the ongoing communications programs and larger strategic plan. This includes running projects from beginning to end, managing client communication on these projects, managing both internal and external schedules, monitoring budgets, and overseeing all elements of execution with little to no direction. To be successful, you must be proactive and a self-starter who is able to motivate others. Being detailed oriented and a proficient project manager is also a must, along with strong communication, leadership, and relationship building skills.
